Joy's classes & workshops incorporate her Yoga with Joy foundation:

Since March we have been teaching classes on Zoom.  Anyone can go to www.generationshealthclub.com to sign into any live classes.  There is a link on their home page to virtual classes and another link to recorded classes.  All of my classes are one hour, except Saturday which is now an hour and 30 minutes.    We also accommodate students to come into the classroom to attend live and in person.  We take all the precautions of leaving plenty of space for safe distancing, disinfecting everything, and wear masks when moving around.  This also is working very well for the students, and we are rarely at the 10 student limit for our room.

This is one of the styles that may be incorporated into Yoga Mix classes:

Yin yoga is a slow mindful yoga practice that stretches the connective tissues, mainly in the hips, pelvis and spine, while relaxing the muscles. Postures are held for a period of time while the body and mind becomes peaceful and meditative. Supports such as bolsters, blocks and blankets can be used to keep the body comfortable and still. This style of yoga opens up what is referred to in Chinese medicine as the meridians, allowing more energy, prana or chi flow through these generally tight areas. All of the organs are stimulated through this opening, generating a more healthy balanced body to live in.

Mix class is a mixture of mindful Flow, longer held postures, breath awareness, Yin, Restorative, mindfulness, and meditation.

Chair Yoga-The Yoga Practice for Everyone! Practice yoga postures sitting and standing using the chair as support. Mindfully increase flexibility, strength, balance, body–breath awareness, plus boost mental fitness. Chair Yoga has helped many serious medical conditions, anxiety, depression and chronic pain improve. It is also fun and can be as challenging as you want to make it.  I look forward to seeing some of you who attend my other yoga classes in chair yoga too.

Non member drop in fee is $10 per class or $60 for 8 classes.
